Dr. Wittenberg is a board-certified emergency physician with 20+ years of clinical experience working at both a single coverage emergency department (ED) and a large urban tertiary care center accredited for stroke, trauma, STEMI, ECMO, and pediatrics. He has held leadership roles as both department chair and medical director of the emergency department. Dr. Wittenberg continues to work clinically and serves as a national oral board examiner, a peer case reviewer, and quality chair for the hospital board of directors.
